Open smolpad on the screen where its selected (in 2 monitor setup)
When using Macbook Air standalone, and then moving back to a dual screen setup, the smolpad opens on MBA even when selected from the external monitor. Other than that… absolutely loving smolpad… lovely UX, great work!
Lifetime Family Plan
Would be useful if the lifetime subscription was a family plan.
Unable to go back to the list of files once one has been opened
Not really a request per se, more like a bug report. I open the IOS app, I select a file for editing. When I go back to the list of files, it shows for a quick second and then goes back to the file that has previously been opened. At that point, the back arrow button doesn’t do anything. I have to quit the app to select another file to work on.

Corrective tools integration
To correct my text as I type, I use LanguageTool, which checks spelling and grammar regardless of the language. It’s built into Mail, web browsers, and even TextEdit. Unfortunately, it’s not in SmolPad, but I figure that if TextEdit supports it, there must be a way to make it work with SmolPad, right?

Hi, I discovered today Smolpad in the Blog of Bernard L. : VVMac. I made some tests and i found Smoldpad great, close to i’m looking for, for n a simple but useful app of notes. 👍 As I often propose to the developers of apps/applications I find great, I propose to you to produce the French version of your app (for my friends who don’t speak English and for the app, to have more visibility… and so more users 😉) and for free, of course. So if you are interested in it, please contact me (I think it is possible through my account here). The best way to produce the translation is to have the EN xliff or string files, in order to be sure to go through all the texts! Please keep me informed! Ange PS: 2 questions Why is it not possible to change the size of the editor ? Why don’t you accept the images in the notes ? (sometimes an image is quicker than many sentences, no?)
Another small disturbance.
Usually, with most of the menu bar apps, when I click on the icon, something opens (a window, popover…); then, I click again on the icon, object closes. With Smolpad, when I click again, the window closes but reopens instantly, and so on. The window closes only if I click on the Desktop.

Formatting of Table and Extended Markdown
It would be great if we could benefit from Extended Markdown, and in particular the ability to create and format tables. I have tried to work with tables or to import tables generated by LLMs and I am unable to get them formatted. I might be missing something, or the feature is not included, and it would be really great to have. Smolpad is absolutely great, and this would make a real difference to me, and maybe others.

Hi, please could you add the Build Version with the version in the About dialog? It is easier for the beta testers to check the current version used.

Hello,
I’m running macOS 27 B5. When I click the contectuel menu Delete a note command, a window appears. If I click the Delete button (or the Cancel button), the window disappears, deleting or canceling anything. When I reopen Smolpad, this window is still there, with the very same problem, and I can’t do anything other than force quit the app.
Icons are Flashing
on iPhone, icons on Top are "flashing" when you switch between editor/list views
SmolPad in my Folder Documents ?
Hi, I was surprised to see that i have a SmolPad folder in my Documents (/ /Documents), which has a SmolPad icon, and contains a folder “SmolPad”, which one contains only the Welcome.md file! I don’t remember I have created this Folder !?! All my current notes are right located in iCloud/SmolPad… Best regards, Ange

Add Word Count to iOS platforms. Add Character Count as an option as well.
